Calendar and scheduling

Every campaign has a Calendar tab showing everything scheduled for it, and the Campaigns list has its own Calendar view that combines every campaign's schedule in one place. Both work the same way — the difference is just whether you're looking at one campaign or all of them.

Steps

  1. To see one campaign's schedule, open it and go to its Calendar tab. To see everything across every campaign, go to Campaigns and click Calendar next to the List/Calendar toggle at the top.
  2. Switch between Month and Week view using the toggle in the toolbar.
  3. Use the arrows to move to the previous or next month/week, or click Today to jump back to the current date.
  4. Scheduled sends, texts, posts, and events show up automatically as colored chips on their date — the legend at the top right of the toolbar shows which color belongs to which channel (email, text, social, event). A solid chip means it already happened; a dashed chip means it's still scheduled.
  5. Click any chip to open a small preview card with more detail and a link to open the full item — clicking a chip never navigates you away immediately, so you won't lose your place on the calendar by accident.
  6. To reschedule something that hasn't gone out yet, drag its chip to a new date (or a new time slot, in Week view). This updates the send time directly from the calendar.
  7. If a scheduled item is still cancelable, you can cancel it from its preview card. You'll be asked to confirm, since this can't be undone.
  8. To add something to the calendar that isn't a send — a deadline, a reminder, an external event — click + Add event, give it a title, an optional note, and a date range. Click an existing custom event's chip to edit or delete it the same way.
  9. On the combined Campaigns calendar, use the Campaigns filter dropdown to narrow the view down to one or a few campaigns instead of seeing everything at once; each chip is prefixed with its campaign's name so you can tell them apart.

Tips

  • Dragging to reschedule only works on items that haven't gone out yet — once something has actually sent, its chip becomes a fixed record of what happened rather than something you can move.
  • The Week view is useful when a campaign has several sends close together and the Month view feels too cramped to read clearly.

FAQ

Q: Can I reschedule a send by dragging it, or do I have to edit it some other way? A: You can drag it directly to a new date (or time, in Week view) on the calendar — there's no separate edit screen needed for a simple reschedule.

Q: What's the difference between a custom event and a scheduled send? A: A scheduled send is created automatically when you or the assistant schedule an email, text, or post. A custom event is something you add yourself with + Add event for anything else you want marked on the calendar, like a deadline or reminder.

Q: Can I cancel something I scheduled by mistake? A: Yes, as long as it hasn't gone out yet — open its preview card and cancel it from there. Once something has already sent, it can no longer be canceled.
