Social post
A social post is content formatted for a specific social media channel — LinkedIn, X, Facebook, or Instagram. Create one when you want a caption or short piece of copy ready to use for one or more networks, whether it's announcing something new, sharing an update, or promoting an offer.
Drafting a social post is separate from publishing or scheduling it. Asking for a draft only ever gives you a draft. Posting it live — or scheduling it for later — is a second, explicit step you take once you've reviewed it. This guide covers both: writing the content, then publishing or scheduling it.
How to create one
Start a session and describe what you want to say and which network(s) it's for. Pulse's "New report" works well if you're starting fresh with a general idea. If the post is tied to a specific campaign, that campaign's chat is a good place to start instead, since the assistant will already have relevant context.
Mention which networks you want the post for — LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, or several at once. If you don't specify, the assistant will ask which of your connected accounts to target. Also describe the tone, key message, and any call to action you want included. See Using AI sessions for general tips on writing a good prompt.

What happens after you ask
If you haven't connected a social account yet, the assistant will let you know you need to do that first before it can draft anything for that network. Once you have an account connected, the assistant may ask a quick clarifying question — like which networks to target — before producing a draft.
The result is copy for each network you asked for, tailored to that network's style and length limits. Nothing is posted or scheduled at this point — it lands in your Library as a draft. Review it, ask for changes, or edit it yourself. When you're ready to actually post it, just ask — the assistant can publish or schedule it for you, but only once you've told it to.
Publishing or scheduling a post
Once you're happy with a draft, ask the assistant to post it — for example "post this to LinkedIn" or "schedule this for Tuesday at 9am."
It will show you which of your connected accounts the post can go to, with the networks it was written for already ticked. You can tick more accounts or untick ones you don't want — you're not limited to one at a time. This needs at least one social account connected (see the FAQ below if you haven't done that yet).
Next it asks whether to post right away or at a specific date and time you choose. Either way, nothing goes out until you approve it.
Once you approve, the post goes out to each account you picked — usually within about ten seconds, or at the time you scheduled. Each account is handled independently, so if one network has a problem, your post still goes out to the others.
If you scheduled a post and change your mind, you can ask the assistant to cancel it any time before it fires.
FAQ
Q: Does asking for a social post publish it? A: Not on its own. Asking for a draft just gives you a draft — nothing is posted or scheduled. Publishing is a separate ask you make afterward, and even then the assistant always confirms which accounts, checks the timing with you, and waits for your approval before anything goes live.
Q: Can I get the same post written for multiple networks at once? A: Yes. Just mention which networks you want — for example, "for LinkedIn and X" — and the assistant will write a version suited to each one's format and length.
Q: What if I pick a network the post wasn't written for? A: The assistant will warn you it doesn't have a tailored version for that network and would use the general version instead, which may run long for that network's limits. It's your call — go ahead anyway, or leave that network out.
Q: What if I don't have a social account connected yet? A: The assistant will tell you to connect one first (Settings → Integrations → Social) — this is needed for publishing as well as for drafting posts aimed at a specific network. Once an account is connected, you can ask for a draft, or publish one, for that network.
Q: Can I ask how my posts or accounts are performing? A: Yes — ask things like "which account got the most engagement?" or "how did yesterday's LinkedIn post do?" The assistant pulls the real numbers (followers, impressions, likes, comments, shares) from your connected accounts and reports exactly what the networks return. If a network has no data yet — or no account is connected — it tells you that instead of guessing; it never estimates or fills in numbers.
